The 10 Commandments Sunday school lesson is one of the most searched for lessons on our site.

It's because of this that we've decided to add an extra Sunday school activity to go along with it - a free word search puzzle!

The word search puzzle below can be printed off and used in your class to supplement the Sunday school lesson or you can use it as a review of the Ten Commandments before class starts.

In our Sunday school class, some kids come ten minutes early while some kids are five minutes late. This leaves time for the kids to either run around and get hyped up or to learn about God.

You only have your class a very short time each week. Use it to teach them as much about God as possible!

Here is a 10 Commandments Chart for your wall or door. It's great to have in your room so the kids can see it at all times. Be sure to go over each commandment from time to time so the kids don't forget them.

Many people in the bible have one story, but Moses has many. From his birth to his death, God allows us to follow the life of Moses.

His life was filled with good times and bad, but through it all God never left his side.

Thankfully, we have that same assurance.

God will never leave our side. Whether we are going through good times or bad, we can rest assured God is right there with us.

At the bottom of the page, I've added a video by Colton Dixon that affirms just what I'm saying. The lyrics are listed below the video. Just like the 'Footprints in the Sand' where God carries us at some times of our life, Colton sings about how God was never gone...

I often find myself needing something extra for the kids in Sunday school to do. Sometimes kids come early and need an activity to do to keep them busy or sometimes the story is a bit shorter than I anticipated.

There have been times I have made games up on the spot while other times I have the kids read over bible verses we have printed on the wall. At Christmas time, it can be fun to have an extra activity especially designed for the holiday season.

Sign up to the right to get FREE Sunday school material!

The word search below was made with the "First Christmas" in mind along with making sure Sunday school teachers have what they need to keep the kids learning about our Lord Jesus Christ.

The First Christmas Word Search Puzzle

If you print this out and run out of time, send it home with the kids to do. You could even tell the kids to work on it with their parents or siblings. As they do the puzzle together, tell the kids to talk about what each word they are searching for has to do with the First Christmas.

You can also do this in class together. Reinforcing your Sunday school lesson and the Word of God helps children all parts of the story better.

Jacob was always into something in the bible and there were many, many things written about him. God lets us follow Jacob from birth till death and we see all of his good and bad qualities through each and every verse.

In the Jacob Falls in Love bible story, Jacob is tricked into marrying the wrong girl, then finds himself with two wives! Below is a FREE word search puzzle to go along with the story of Jacob falling in love with Rachel only to find himself married to her sister Leah.

Jacob was always into something when he was a young man. First, he tricked his brother. Then, he tricked his father. Now, he is on a journey to find himself a wife in a different country because he is afraid that his brother may kill him if he stays.

While that sounds a lot like a 'Soap Opera', it is just one of the true bible stories we can tell our Sunday school class.

We've made this word search puzzle to go along with the Sunday school lesson of Jacob's Ladder. After you've taught your class about Jacob and his famous ladder, you can use this word search puzzle to fill in time or talk about what they've learned. You may also have extra time on your hands or have kids who love crafts. If that is the case, think about making your own Jacob's Ladder craft!
